Terms of Use
How SwipeAway's cleanup and subscription features work.
Last updated September 27, 2026
App license
SwipeAway distributed through the App Store is licensed under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. The following information explains SwipeAway's cleanup and subscription features.
Review before removing
SwipeAway helps you review photos and videos you can access. You decide what to keep and what to remove. Similar-photo suggestions can be wrong: inspect each proposed cleanup and its keeper. A final review is required before the app requests deletion through Apple Photos.
Photos and recovery
Deleted items normally enter Recently Deleted and may be recoverable for up to 30 days unless permanently removed earlier. iCloud Photos may sync deletions across your devices. Recovery and storage availability depend on Apple Photos and your settings. SwipeAway cannot guarantee recovery and is not a backup service. Keep separate backups of important media.
Free and Pro access
Free access includes 100 cleanup decisions per local calendar day. SwipeAway Pro adds unlimited cleanup decisions, Smart Stacks, screenshot cleanup, and long-video cleanup while the subscription is active. Available plans, subscription durations, and full renewal prices are displayed in the app using App Store information. Smart Stacks requires iOS 17 or later.
Automatic renewal
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before that period ends. Eligible introductory offers and the price afterward are shown before purchase. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account's subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
Restores and refunds
Use Restore Purchases while signed into the Apple Account that purchased SwipeAway Pro to restore eligible access. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its applicable policies. You can request help through Apple's Report a Problem service.
Availability and estimates
Photo access, local storage estimates, iCloud media availability, similarity analysis, and purchases depend on your device and Apple's services. Local byte estimates may be incomplete. Moving media to Recently Deleted does not guarantee that storage is immediately reclaimed. A network connection is required to purchase or restore, and to retrieve media available only through iCloud.
