Privacy Policy

You decide whether to give SwipeAway access to all or selected photos and videos. SwipeAway reads media and library metadata to display your library, find cleanup candidates, compare similar photos, and estimate available local file sizes. Photo analysis happens on your device. SwipeAway does not upload your photo or video contents to its own servers or to RevenueCat. Apple's Photos and iCloud services may retrieve media or sync changes according to your Apple settings.

Swiping left only queues an item for removal. SwipeAway requests deletion through Apple Photos after you review and confirm the selection. Deleted items normally move to Recently Deleted and remain recoverable there for up to 30 days unless permanently removed earlier. If you use iCloud Photos, deletions can sync to your other devices. SwipeAway is not a backup service.

SwipeAway stores onboarding preferences, daily usage counts, identifiers of reviewed photos, an unfinished cleanup queue, and cleanup history locally. You can show reviewed photos again from Settings.

To show photos quickly, SwipeAway keeps temporary, screen-sized preview images of recently reviewed photos in its cache on your iPhone. They never leave your device, older ones are removed automatically, and iOS may clear them at any time.

Removing the app removes its local app data, subject to any backups or restores managed by iOS. Your Photos library is separate from that app data.

Apple handles App Store payments. SwipeAway uses RevenueCat to check purchase history and Pro access, restore purchases, prevent purchase fraud, and understand subscription performance. RevenueCat processes an anonymous app-generated customer identifier, transaction and subscription information, and technical context used to operate its service. SwipeAway does not require an account or supply RevenueCat with your name or email address. SwipeAway does not receive your full payment card details.

SwipeAway does not contain advertising or use your photos for advertising. It does not use advertising identifiers or combine your information across other companies' apps and websites for advertising. RevenueCat provides subscription reporting; SwipeAway does not include a separate behavioral analytics or crash-reporting service.

If you email support, the email address, message, and attachments you choose to send are used to respond and resolve your request. Avoid including sensitive photos, payment details, or information about other people. Support correspondence is kept only as needed to address requests and meet applicable obligations. You may email us to request deletion, subject to any records we must retain.

Apple and RevenueCat process purchase information under their own terms and privacy practices, potentially in countries outside your own. Transaction records may be retained as needed to provide subscriptions, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. Removing SwipeAway does not cancel a subscription or erase records held by Apple or RevenueCat. Contact support for help with a privacy request; we may need limited information to identify a purchase safely.

You can change or revoke photo access at any time in iOS Settings. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal information. We may update this policy when SwipeAway or its services change. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected in the app and the public policy.
