Account information

When you create a One Day account, we may collect your email address, display name, account identifier, and account creation or update information.

Content you create

When you use One Day, we may store content and activity you choose to create, including:

• Photos you post as Moments
• Captions
• Comments
• Emoji reactions
• Circle names and membership
• Circle invitations
• Daily turn assignments
• Reports and blocks

Camera and photo library

One Day may request access to your camera or photo library so you can create a Moment. We only access photos you choose to capture or select for use in the app.

Notifications and device information

If you enable notifications, One Day may store a push notification token, a device identifier or device description, and notification status. This information is used to deliver notifications such as when it is your day to post or when a new Moment is shared.

Reports, blocking, and moderation

If you report or block another user, One Day may store information necessary to process that action, protect users, and operate moderation and safety features.

We use information collected through One Day to:

• Create and maintain your account
• Operate private Circles
• Select daily posting turns
• Store and display Moments to authorized Circle members
• Enable comments and reactions
• Send notifications you have enabled
• Process invitations
• Provide blocking and reporting features
• Prevent abuse and protect the security of the service
• Troubleshoot problems and maintain reliability
• Process account and content deletion requests

One Day is designed around private Circles. Your display name, Moments, comments, and reactions may be visible to other members of Circles you join.

One Day does not provide a public discovery feed or public follower system. Circle and Moment content is intended to be available only to authenticated users with appropriate access to that Circle, subject to blocking and other safety controls.

We use third-party service providers to operate One Day. These providers may process information on our behalf only as needed to provide their services.

• Supabase - authentication, database, file storage, and backend infrastructure
• Expo - app infrastructure and push notification delivery
• Apple - iOS distribution and Apple Push Notification service
• Resend - transactional account emails such as email confirmation and password reset messages

These providers may process technical information required to operate their services, such as network requests, device information, security logs, and delivery information.

One Day does not sell your personal information.

One Day does not currently display third-party advertising and does not currently use your information for cross-app or cross-website advertising tracking.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide One Day, maintain account functionality, protect the service, and meet legal or operational requirements.

When content or an account is deleted, associated active service data is removed according to One Day's deletion processes. Limited information may remain temporarily in backups, security logs, or infrastructure systems where reasonably necessary for security, reliability, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

You can request deletion of your One Day account directly inside the app through Settings - Delete Account.

Deleting an account removes the account and associated data handled by the deletion process. In some situations, Circle ownership may be transferred to another remaining member so that the Circle can continue for those users.

You may also delete individual Moments or comments where the app provides that option.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect your information. One Day uses authenticated access controls and database security rules to restrict access to private Circle content.

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Depending on the features you use, you can:

• Update your display name
• Leave or manage Circles where permitted
• Delete your Moments
• Delete comments you created
• Block users
• Disable notifications through iOS Settings
• Delete your One Day account

One Day is not specifically directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without any consent that may be required by applicable law.

If you believe a child has provided personal information in violation of applicable law, contact us so we can review and address the situation.

One Day's service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those locations may have different privacy and data-protection laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy as One Day changes. When we make material changes, we may update the effective date or provide another appropriate notice.
